A 2025 Princess Grace Award winner, Houston was born in Chicago and received his training at the Joffrey Ballet Academy, ChiArts, and the School of American Ballet before embarking on a ten-year performance career with Dresden Semperoper Ballett. Now a sought-after choreographic voice, his works have been commissioned by Opéra National de Bordeaux, The Washington Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Complexions, ABT Studio Company, Alvin Ailey II, Dance Aspen, Juilliard, USC Kaufman, and others. In 2022, he won France's Young Emergent Choreographers Contest with his work Follow the White Rabbit. Upcoming projects include new commissions for the Joffrey Ballet, Staatsballett Karlsruhe, and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, among others.
