Hui Cha Poos is an educator, choreographer and has worked on countless shows for Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Southern Plains Theatre, The Pollard Theatre, Oklahoma City Rep, UCO Music Theatre, RACE Dance Collective, and SPARK! Creative Lab. Film contributions include Full Out 2 (Netflix), Finding Carlos (Apple TV), Odd Sense, Swirl, Homecoming Trilogy, and The Guard.  She has been on faculty at the University of Central Oklahoma for over twenty years and founded RACE Dance Collective. 

Hui has received the Governor's Arts Award for Arts Education and was selected as one of “6 Theatre Workers You Should Know” by American Theatre Publication. She has been selected Artist of the Year by the Paseo Arts Association, Women Who Inspire Award-UCO, the Founders Day Award for Oklahoma Contemporary, and has received numerous choreography awards by Broadway World-Regionals.  Hui has created opportunities in Oklahoma for dance like Race the Space Studios, the Calderon Dance Festival and Cure-8 Choreography Experience, Dance Night at the Sound Bar, and serves as an advisor for the Choreography Guild.
