Our 2024 spring concert will showcase the work of multifaceted creatives who are trailblazers in their respective artistic communities. We will conclude our 23-24 season with 3 programs to include world premieres by 2021 Guggenheim Fellow Tommie-Waheed Evans whose work intersects movement vocabulary that blends cultural forms and contemporary dance vocabularies, with narratives that are often rooted in the black experience, and 2022 Princess Grace Award Winning choreographer and director Omar Román de Jesús who uses his work to express the complexities of Latinx identities.
