Development Coordinator
Jorrell Lawyer-Jefferson is a multidisciplinary artist and arts administrator with a three-season history as a dancer with Saint Louis Dance Theatre. His choreography has premiered at The Met Cloisters and has created work for Detroit Opera and Houston Grand Opera. A former featured dancer with Glimmerglass Opera Festival and Houston Grand Opera, Jorrell has performed in acclaimed productions including Aida, La Traviata, and Florencia en el Amazonas. As Development Coordinator at Saint Louis Dance Theatre, he manages fundraising, sponsorship cultivation, and donor engagement to power bold programming and expand youth access to the arts.
Merging an artist’s vision with strategic development expertise, Jorrell supports annual campaigns, corporate giving initiatives, and special events, aligning resources to strengthen the company’s creative impact. His combined experience in performance, choreography, and arts administration allows him to champion both the artistic and operational sides of Saint Louis Dance Theatre with precision, creativity, and purpose.
